Thank you for considering Cooperative Funding as an option for subsidizing your student organizational event at Elmhurst College. Established in 1986 by the Elmhurst College Union Board, the Cooperative Funding process is designed to help co-sponsor programs with other campus organizations. The Cooperative Funding Committee is comprised of student representatives from Union Board and Student Government Association.
In order to be considered for co-sponsorship, groups must be registered student
organizations recognized by SGA, Greek Letter Organizations producing events open to the entire campus, or Scouting Organizations producing campus-wide events.
Requests for funding for all anticipated programs for the upcoming year may be made at
any time throughout the year, as long as the request is turned in at least TWO WEEKS prior to the program. We ask that all organizations be prepared to present their request to the Cooperative Funding Committee during the month in which the request is submitted.
We ask that all organizations send a student representative familiar with your organization’s program request to the interview session. At this interview session, members of the Cooperative Funding Committee will ask the student representative questions about the program proposal so they can become better informed. We suggest that your representative bring a completed copy of the Cooperative Funding Request Form and anything to better answer the questions from the committee. The interview can last anywhere between 10 to 15 minutes.
Since the Cooperative Funding budget has a limited amount of money to use for the
entire year, your organization may not always receive the entire amount of your funding request. However, Cooperative Funding is committed to funding as many diversified student programs as possible. We want and need you to program for the students!

Spring times for weekly meetings:
Applications must be submitted by 4pm on the Friday prior to the meeting.
All requests must be submitted at least two weeks prior to the program.

Note: this will be the last meeting for events taking place in the spring semester.
